Requirement
Siemens Gamesa, a renewable energy company, specialises in engineering green initiatives that provide clean air and sustainable power throughout the UK.
At their Hull factory, Siemens required a dedicated office and welfare facility for their onsite team. The building also needed to serve as the main entrance to the factory. This space would play a key role in supporting their green initiatives by offering a functional hub for staff working on these critical projects.

Solution
Siemens Gamesa is a long-standing customer of both Portable Building Sales and its sister company, Wernick Group. Leveraging our strong relationship and track record of successful deliveries, we quickly understood their needs and delivered a bespoke solution.
This building offers an office area, toilet facilities and a boot room with clean and dirty areas for factory staff. The boot room includes a linkway in and out of the factory, which allows factory staff easy access to and from the new modular building. Additional features include water coolers throughout and an external ramp to ensure accessibility and comfort for both visitors and employees. The building’s exterior is painted to fit in with the factory’s environment, complimenting the aesthetic of the site and surrounding areas.
Portable Building Sales worked within a tight timeline to deliver a high-quality solution, meeting Siemens Gamesa’s standards. The client was impressed by the speed and efficiency of the process and valued our commitment to ensuring their needs were met.

We were able to overcome challenges around a tight programme at peak time for our production team and the client was delighted that we were able to provide a solution to their exact requirements. The building has provided new and additional office and welfare facilities to the staff on site and has played a big part in the wider project.
