We recycle modular buildings

30th October 2019

This is a perfect example of how we can recycle our modular buildings.

We supplied a Clearview Modular building a few years ago to the Notre Dame Prep School in Norwich for use as a nursery building. When they no longer had a use for it they contacted us and we purchased the building back and safely relocated it to our premises in East Yorkshire.

Four weeks later we had refurbished the building and hired it to St Clare’s school in Derby to be used as a temporary classroom. When they have finished with the building we will either sell it or rent it out again.

Providing a quality used modular building uses only 3% of the energy needed to manufacture a new building, this is because the embodied energy within the frame of the building is transportable.
