Double Storey Building For Nuclear Power Station

Portable Building Sales have now completed their third order in less than 9 months for the supply of modular buildings to a nuclear power station.

We have previously supplied both a twelve and fourteen bay quality pre-owned modular building to this nuclear facility. This time around we were initially asked to supply, deliver and erect onto Jackpad foundations a fully refurbished 1,000m2 double storey used Portakabin Duplex modular building, to be used as a joint visitor centre and training facility.

Our clients viewed the building on its original site at Newcastle airport, and subsequently decided to complete their specific internal modifications themselves. Because we were supplying and installing the building without modification we were able to offer this building for significantly less. We are always happy to be flexible and to fit buildings out to whatever level the client requires.

The installation team at Portable Building Sales Ltd are proud of their Health & Safety record and easily achieved the demanding Health & Safety requirements of this nuclear power station.

They were watched and monitored by the Nuclear Power Station’s Health & Safety team during the installation of the building and we were commended on their perfect performance.
