A Very Special Wood Clad Building, Unrecognisable As A Jackleg Cabin

Surely that’s not a jackleg cabin?

We are delighted to confirm the order for a very special jackleg cabin, built to our unique new full Clearview Woodland specification. We introduced the smart and distinctive thermowood cladding option across the range for 2014, and this is the very first jackleg cabin to be constructed to this specification.

Our clients, who have bought a normal standard cabin from us previously in 2012, were searching for the accommodation space of a jackleg cabin, without that look. They were very impressed by the aesthetics of the Clearview Woodland modular range, and by the fact that this “permanent building” aesthetic could be specially engineered into a jackleg cabin.

The building will have the jacklegs removed and a full wooden skirt installed on site. With beautiful full length windows, a door canopy and full thermowood cladding to ground level, the building will have the look of a smart modern permanent structure. It will be a jackleg version of the modular building illustrated, yet with all the installation advantages jackleg accommodation provides.

We’re intrigued and excited by the order, as we’re sure this special bespoke “secret jackleg” variant will create interest for lots of other clients looking for distinctive high quality cabin sized accommodation in the future.
