Shrewsbury Town football club, building for the future!

We are very impressed with the community spirit at Shrewsbury Town football club. We have just supplied a used 7 bay 12m x 21m modular building to them  for use as additional office space, and they have subsequently embarked on an unusual self help scheme to further modify this building to their exact needs.

We replaced all of the windows in the front elevation with our “Clearview” style full length feature windows, wrapped in dark blue, to match the building which is already there, and altered the interior layout, as requested. These modifications were the starting point for club supporter volunteers. They are helping the club by skimming the interior, and providing a new front facia board to put the club signs on. It’s both rare and impressive to see such voluntary refurbishment and adaptation. Well done Shrewsbury supporters!

This building was sold and delivered directly, site to site, from Sutton Coalfield in Birmingham, which saves on double handling costs, and is much more environmentally friendly. We like to sell site to site for these reasons, when possible.

With the club having just beaten Cardiff to get through to the next round of the FA cup, we wish them well, and applaud their community spirit!
