It’s silly season again

In the modular and portable building industry, we call it silly season. That’s when all schools want their new classrooms in the summer holiday break and it is our busiest time of the year.

Just next week we have 10 modules being installed on hire to a school on the Isle of Wight. 12 modules being relocated from Blackpool to Newport in South Wales. 3 modules being installed in Surrey and various jack leg cabins being delivered around the country.

That’s why it’s called silly season, because it gets silly the amount of work that needs completing.
