This aesthetic alternative, new for 2014, offers further compatibility and versatility to aid integration across a wide variety of clients’ settings.
We have regularly been asked about alternative finishes, and this new yet classical option in ThermoWood is generating a lot of interest. The ThermoWood cladding is a high quality non-polluting, stable and durable product, sourced from certified forests of Nordic spruce or pine. The attractive natural wood appearance can be left uncoated to turn a natural grey colour, or alternatively coated in a variety of translucent stains.
ThermoWood undergoes thermal modification which makes it highly resistant to shrinking, swelling and distortion or rot and decay. The thermo treatment also prevents any problems with resin leaks through knots, and it is PEFC certified. There are none of the compromises associated with inferior cladding, and our ThermoWood option now adds the natural beauty of wood to the aesthetically superior Clearview range.
With window surrounds available in natural ThermoWood, dark wood or white finishes, clients can further refine and define their choices to fit their setting englishcollege.com. We are justifiably proud of our new Woodland option – we feel we’ve really “nailed it” with this timber extension to the range!
