Classroom For Village School

1st October 2013

Portable Building Sales have completed one of our most difficult installations and have supplied the beautiful village of Benington with a mobile classroom building on their existing school grounds.

The modular building sections were 12′ wide and had to be transported down Duck Lane, a very narrow lane with only 2 inches spare on either side of each module.

They were then driven onto a Trackway bridge that was erected across a ditch and finally across 100m of Trackway that was installed across the school playing field.

We started the installation project on a Saturday at 8am and by 1pm the same day all 5no modules had been installed onto the school’s pre-prepared foundations. Our team stayed throughout the weekend to ensure that the building could be handed over on the Monday morning before the school children arrived.

Our client sent us a letter saying

“The Governers of Benington Primary School in Hertfordshire would like to say a huge thank you to your company for the supply and installation of our new classroom. The service we received has been second to none. Efficient, courteous and so patient with the obstacles put in our way by the planning authorities. Thank you so much, we are delighted.”
Jenny Cobb, Chair of Governers.

How can we help you with your next project?
