Martin Clunes is patron of The Fortune Centre For Riding Therapy near Christchurch in Dorset. This organisation does extremely valuable work, motivating young people through contact and involvement with equestrian life.

We have just supplied them with a new timber clad two section modular building, to further develop their facilities. We were delighted to tackle this unusual installation, as our experienced and capable installation team were keen to help provide a valuable modular building facility..

We had to install the building into a particularly tight space, under an existing low canopy. Final positioning  could only be made using two forklift trucks.

We supply modular and portable relocatable buildings for many purposes, but this is the first for a horse rising therapy school.

We were delighted to offer to become the main sponsor for Chris Wharram who swam across the River Humber in extremely windy conditions for an excellent local charity.

Paul for Brain Recovery is a support centre for people who have suffered a brain injury and you can learn more by reading their story of how the charity started

Chris managed this magnificent feat in under 90 minutes with other swimmers who were swimming on behalf of Humber Rescue.

Delivery Services Ltd have recently taken delivery of one of our new 2 bay Clearview modular buildings

We are very pleased to have provided them with one of our light, airy and aesthetically pleasing new manufactured buildings for their postal delivery business office facility.

We like the Swift and Bold company name, and they have certainly liked our service and product. This was a bespoke cabin, a specially made 12.0 m x 3.8 m to fit their available space.

We made a Saturday delivery and installation to minimise disruption for the company… and this was their response:

Once again, for the third year, our MD has sponsored our good friend and ex PBS employee, Trev Watts, on his extensive France and Belgian cycle trip for Dove House Hospice.

Dove House is a wonderful charity, undertaking a really sensitive job… their website is well worth a visit.

Trev cycled through Belgium with his friends, visiting numerous First World War battle sites and cemeteries.

Trev was again keen to thank our MD, Mike Ward, for this years’ substantial donation to this worthy cause.

We are all aware of Mike’s generosity within the company, and we too appreciate his support for others less fortunate than ourselves.

Due to the sheer size and weight of this enormous 60′ x 13′ jackleg cabin, it required to be craned into position, instead of using a typical hi-ab vehicle.

The self contained unit features an open plan office area, toilets, kitchen, and is fitted out with air conditioning.

Built with 6 jacklegs instead of the usual 4 to provide added support, we also manufactured the building in just 6 weeks for Whites Properties. 

It demonstrates that it’s ‘all white’ to go to this size in an individual cabin, and also that we can provide brand new bespoke cabin space at short notice.

We wrote a comprehensive blog on the installation a little while back… it’s good to see the building is now fully up and running.

We seem to have hit upon a real foodie themed portable cabin sales period recently.

The Wise Herb company asked for a cabin kitchen facility to be installed right inside their factory.

As you can see, it was snowing at the time, but as the main photo illustrates it was no problem for us.

Moving swiftly on, we have just delivered another 20′ x 10′ cabin to Glanbia Cheese, the leading mozzarella cheese manufacturing company in Europe and we were pleased to offer our usual excellent service.

Additionally, in this blog we’ll mention another couple of recently delivered cabins. One has been installed within 5 weeks of initial order, eliciting this response:

A further portable cabin delivery was to Beech House in Ripon. Again, we delivered this portable building very quickly, as required, within a mere three weeks of the initial enquiry.

Viridor have replaced their old waste management office and control facility with two of our finest large 48′ x 12′ modern, light and airy cabins.

It’s interesting to compare and see how much cabin design has moved on … see the before and after pictures below. We’re currently fitting the mid band connection between the two buildings, so these photos are as fresh as they come!

As a waste management company, they will have no difficulty dismantling and recycling their old buildings, which we have moved for them.

We are due to begin installing this bespoke new Nursery building in Bristol in a weeks time and we are currently completing the ground works for the building via D Dry and Sons.

This building is to be a brand new Clearview Woodland. The enquiry started a considerable time ago and we have helped the nursery all the way through from the initial enquiry stage.

We have completed the planning process for them and provided accurate quotations so the necessary funding can be applied for and obtained.

By the time the building is completed and operational the whole combined process will have spanned two years.

We are always happy to work through the due processes with our customers, utilising all of our expertise, to bring a project to completion.

Wrings Transport, based in Bristol, required a new jackleg cabin on site for extra office space due to continued expansion at the company. This building features an open plan office area, with a cellular office to one side for the manager.

The building was colour matched so that the new cabin looked exactly the same as the existing one on site.

With Wrings being a transport company they organised the collection of the building with their own vehicle, which was convenient for everybody.

We believe in supporting our local community, and support a range of charitable causes.

We put £1000 in to match fund Hessle Golf Club’s charity jar, in support of Nicholl’s Spinal Injury Foundation.

It’s always nice to club together with the golfing community efforts.

A2B Online, based in Felixstowe, are moving from their current site near Felixstowe Port to a new location at Orwell Crossing and required a new office complex on site. They had originally designed a permanent building, but the cost indications alerted them to other potential building solutions.

The company approached us via a recommendation from Smeets Ferries who we have previously supplied a building to, and our modular building plan proved a very attractive alternative proposition.

We took the floor plan design from their original permanent building plans and applied it to a bespoke five section modular building.

The building and foundations have been constructed with the future in mind so that a second storey can be added in due course, as and when further expansion is required.

This building features from a large open plan office, meeting room, director’s office, drivers’ break out room, wet rooms, toilets and it is fully DDA compliant.

It is entirely possible to make a bespoke modular building to mirror and even further elaborate on the features within a potential permanent building design.

In quick succession we manufactured, delivered and installed two brand new 48’ x 12’ jackleg cabins.

Spectrum Freight:

Spectrum already had a 48’ x 12’ jackleg cabin on site and required more equivalent office space. We manufactured and supplied a brand new 48’ x 12’ jackleg to their precise specification.

Spectrum Freight are a transport company who collected the building themselves once it was finished. They collected the building with a very impressive artic hi-ab craned vehicle which fully supported the building.

Once the building arrived In Chesterfield, we were present at the delivery to install the building and link through to their current jackleg cabin.

Felixstowe Port Containers:

Felixstowe required a new office building onsite and decided to go for a brand new manufactured 48’ x 12’ for their new offices.

This building was manufactured to their bespoke specification which features a main office, manager’s office, kitchen and toilets and was complete with heat / cool air conditioning.

This trade sale supply is the first ever building to be supplied by us from the Isle Of Anglesey to Ireland!

Topline cabins contacted us looking for a cost effective modular building solution. We had a building available, located in Anglesey, North Wales, not too far from Holyhead port. The location made it ideal for Topline to get the building transported across the Irish Sea.

We supplied the building on a trade sale basis and allowed the building to be decommissioned and removed by Topline. The client loaded the building onto their transport and ferried it to Dublin.

The building’s new home will be a construction yard.

We fully refurbished this pre-owned four section modular building, to IT Fleet’s specific requirements.

IT Fleet have bought some modular buildings from us previously. They subsequently required further office space on site and came back to us with their latest proposals.

We supplied this pre-owned four section modular building… completely refurbished at our premises… to IT Fleet’s specifications.

Unique to this building, we fitted a number of internal glazed partitions, as seen in the photos.

This building features an open plan office area, meeting room, manager’s office, kitchen and toilets.

We have the capacity to provide such unique buildings, thoroughly refurbished to a high standard, to meet your exact requirements.

This is merely a sample of a number of repeat orders in the last few months:

Servomex – They received a brand new 40’ x 10’ cabin early 2017 and were so impressed they ordered a brand new cabin, same size and specification just with an extra door.

PD Ports – They purchased a new cabin from us back in 2010. Like so many others they subsequently required further new space and came straight back to us. The latest 40′ x 12′ building is a welfare facility for the workers on site. The latest building features a canteen, changing room, toilet and DDA compliant toilet.

Autism Anglia – The society purchased our stock 32’ x 10’ jackleg cabin earlier this year and then required another small classroom space. They came back to us without hesitation for a 16′ x 9′ jackleg cabin that they could use to take small groups to one side for extra learning.

Goodrich Control Systems – Goodrich have purchased a number of modular buildings and jackleg cabins from us in the past and came back yet again with their latest requirement. This time they required a small office building at very short notice.

True to the excellent reputation and relationship we have formed with Goodrich, we moved heaven and earth to ensure the building was manufactured and delivered to their site in just three weeks!

All for a fantastic local cause, though…

Just as our accountant Stuart Watts was enjoying his Monday morning after becoming a grandad for the first time at the weekend, then in comes Hull Batman into our office to extract another Christmas donation for ill and under privileged children.

Hull Batman does a wonderful job giving up his crime fighting time to buy and distribute toys and selection boxes to the many children who need them most.

This is the second Christmas we have donated to the Hull Batman cause and we are happy to help again. For more details about this worthy cause, see our blog from last year. Also available on facebook.

Blyth Star needed a canteen / office extension to their original building, purchased from us last year.

We looked at various options together, and a cabin was the most convenient and cost effective addition, linked through to the original modular 2 bay.

The company wished to fit out the open plan building with their own kitchen design – it was the 40′ x 12′ cabin solution that made it all a cost effective viable option.

Customers are not always aware that we can link and match cabin / modular buildings in this way – it could well be a solution to suit your needs?

Totts Nursery were delighted to receive a complete new nursery unit over the October half term. They’d had a difficult time coping with nursery provision within the main building after the demolition of the old nursery buildings.

This new building has a large open plan area, wet play area, kitchen, disabled / adult and children’s toilets, entrance lobby and cloakroom. It is one of the most bespoke buildings we’ve supplied, with a host of particular features.

Planning and ground works were completed by us too, so we provided the complete package from beginning to completion.

The school community are delighted with their new nursery – and we always get a warm glow helping the next generation with the light and airy learning environment they deserve.

This building was sold on as a trade sale, in its existing configuration and condition. It was installed in 2 days by our experienced team, and the new owner was delighted by the current excellent unworn interior and exterior.

There was no particular refurbishment necessary, and we are always happy to sell on without extensive modifications to the existing buildings, though we obviously have the capacity to do so.

It’s always worth enquiring if we have this sort of building in stock, as it’s a very cost effective accommodation solution, when available.

It’s always nice to help a small local football club and we get a kick out of supporting communities. So we offered a very good deal on this changing facility. We were, apparently, significantly cheaper than our competitors.

With home and away changing, shower and toilet, plus access for the public via a third entrance to toilet facilities, this was exactly what the customer required.

Resplendent in thermowood cladding, with entrance canopies, skirts and steps to match, this is a changing facility to be proud of.

Fair play – a fantastic building at a fantastic price.

Another example of a bespoke building constructed to our customer’s size requirements, the bay lengths are usually 8.5 m – however these were 8.3 m, as requested.

We very rarely provide a black building, so we were interested to see how this turned out. It actually looks very smart finished with Thermowood cladding and stained black. The colour choice was stipulated in the planning application and used to match the existing groundsman storage facility.

Installed using track-way and a crane to access the site location, this 2 bay Clearview building features a shower and toilet room, office and kitchenette and is to be used as a welfare facility for the groundsmen who work at the college.

Dark on the outside, this superb Clearview building has the light, airy and modern interior that features within all of our buildings.

Our installation and removal team are having another very busy week next week. They’re delivering, installing and commissioning a new 3 bay nursery from Saturday through to Tuesday, at Tottington.

This is a bespoke building, with the client having been deeply involved in the design of the nursery school building.

Overlapping this installation, we’re installing a 2 bay Clearview building at JAG UFS in Feltam, London. This building is actually being installed inside the main factory building. Delivery is at  6:30 am Tuesday morning and we will be skating the building into their factory then linking it into the current offices. It will feature three offices and a board room for the Director and his staff.

Overlapping this, we will be removing a double classroom building for Emanuel School in Battersea, London. Decommissioning of this double classroom is to happen on Wednesday, with the building to be lifted out Thursday and delivered back to Hull on Friday.

This building had to be removed w/c 16th October so we have arranged for it to be done,  despite the two buildings above being installed.

Our installation and removal teams will certainly be pleased when they’ve successfully completed such a varied set of tasks around the country!

Although we’re known primarily as a provider of new and pre-owned buildings, we also purchase and safely remove them.

Emanuel school in Battersea, London contacted us, looking to sell their double classroom modular building. They were looking for the removal to be done in a couple of weeks. These were tight timelines, but nevertheless we fitted it in at short notice, around our installation programmes.

When we undertake removal, we look after everything, arranging and incurring all the costs involved with decommissioning the building, craning out, and transporting back to Hull. We offer a free site survey along with all the health and safety documentation involved in the decommissioning process.

In this instance we also offered a small amount for the building. Through using our professional expertise, there was no hassle and complete peace of mind for the school.
