Ted, who has an excellent reputation is a really nice guy, a very proficient boxer and is aiming to be part of the team to represent Great Britain in the next Olympic Games.

Our sponsorship has helped him purchase fight gear, training gear, extra training, travel and medicals and our Managing Director watched Ted box at Hull’s KC stadium last week when Ted comfortably won his match.

Hi Michael,

Just thought I would send you an email to say I hope everything is okay and the pandemic hasn’t effected you to much as a business.  We obviously haven’t been playing any football lately and today was our first game back since November. 

Thought you might like to read our write up from the game. 

An opening tough game for new manager Lewis Poucher taking his team across to Wakefield who are one of the top sides in the league. The game started very brightly for United with the high intense pressing really hurting Wakefield as they struggled to get into the game. Lauren Holmes in the middle of the park alongside Millie and Emma were really dictating play. United had the opening chances through Wardy and Tonya but spurned them early on.

However, United  unlocked the deadlock as great work from centre forward Tonya turned there centre back and she brought her down for a penalty. Becky Walker stepped up and slotted it home to make it one nil before half time.

Going into the second half United didn’t stop with Jess and Ellie coming on and continuing the high pressure we created a great opening which Emma side  footed volley into the top corner to make it two nil. United further pushed for more with a great freekick from Millie made it 3-0. However, as Wakefield pushed further, United got them on the counter attack with a great breakaway goal from Wardy to make it 4-0.

As the end neared United got the first corner of the game and Becky Walker rose highest to finish off the game in style and United won the game in great fashion 5-0. Credit and thanks to Wakefield today who grafted to the end.
