We would like to express how delighted we are with our new classroom. I am sure our children will love it we do.Our thanks must also go to Martin Jackson, Phil and Steve. They were at all times very professional understanding and very attentive to our needs. We could not have asked for a better team.
Rob Allsop, Windmill Academy Building Manager
Windmill Academy School contacted us to see if we could help them with fitting extra classroom accommodation in at the rear of their exceptionally tight school site. After visiting the site and assessing the difficulties, we assured them that a portable building could indeed be craned in from the road.
We offered the school a suitable range of both pre-owned and new manufactured possibilities. The head teacher and staff were impressed by the high quality aesthetic appearance of our Clearview range, and decided that a new 2 bay open plan classroom unit would be best to accommodate the 15 to 30 pupils they anticipated teaching within the building.
Our capable and experienced Site Installation Manager visited the school to confirm all the technical details of the lift, and we manufactured the new building within the month, to Windmill Academy’s time requirements and exact specification.
The installation of this building required the hire of a large eight wheeled crane to lift the modules in from a distant road. This involved a Saturday morning road closure, which we organised and which proceeded as planned.
The 2 bay classroom unit was installed and completed over the Saturday and Sunday, to the delight of the head teacher and staff. This tricky installation was made to look easy by the expertise of our whole installation team, and the Windmill School’s Buildings Manager, Rob Allsop, sent a lovely letter of congratulation acknowledging the professionalism we exhibited through all of our work.
Portable Building Sales are delighted to make the difficult possible. Windmill Academy can now continue to develop and flourish with our Clearview high quality extra accommodation in place, and we wish them well for the future.
