The first steps for Second Steps Nursery … getting the requisite funding … took longer than expected. This left such little time for manufacture and installation, we suggested that we should adapt the new Clearview 2 bay building which we always keep on stock for a quick response installation.

From receiving their order to completing the installation has taken us just four weeks! This has enabled the extra accommodation to be up and running to the time frame desired by Second Steps.

We fitted two toilets and a kitchen area into the new open plan stock building. We also matched the branding of the Day Nursery by decorating the top fascia in their exact blue to match. As can be seen from the quotation, the staff are delighted.

We can provide you with a full, end-to-end service, from planning right through to the final installation, including the creation of any foundations and ground works.

A modular building is a pre-fabricated, transportable building that consists of any number of different ‘modules’ (or sections). These modules are manufactured off site in factory conditions. Once completed the modules are transported to site and fitted together to create the overall building structure.

Modular buildings can built to any design, can be single storey or multi storey structures to meet with each customers unique requirements.

Yes.

Modular buildings require foundational support in order to be installed on site. Traditional concrete foundations are the most common route. Taking the form of either standard 600 mm x 600 mm pads or strip foundations. The final size and scale of the foundations varies depending on the size of the building, whether is is single or multi-storey and the imposed loadings.

If you have a hard standing site, it maybe possible to utilise a portable foundation system called Jackpads. Jackpads can be installed by our site teams to fully support your building on site. They provide a more cost effective, time efficient alternative to concrete foundations.
