The Government recognises that recycled modular buildings are extremely energy efficient as the embodied energy originally required to manufacture them is transportable. Therefore, a recycled modular building only uses between 3% and 10% of the energy required to manufacture an equivalent new building.

This added to the requirements of the 2010 Part L2B Building Regulations that state that new high efficiency heat / cool air conditioning must be fitted to comply with the regulations, means that recycled modular buildings are even more eco friendly, and at under half the cost of an equivilant new manufactured building, they also offer excellent value for money as well.
