Enquiry

The Facilities Manager for Ascot Racecourse contacted us in late September to enquire about a new VIP ticket office from our "Clearview" range of modular buildings that was required to be installed and completed in time for the Ascot Halloween race meeting on the 28th October 2011.

In addition to the superior aesthetic appearance of the "Clearview" Buildings, our client also wanted to enhance one elevation even more by cladding it in Cedar.

Our Solution

We arranged to meet with him at Ascot Racecouse to discuss the specification and layout of the building and to conduct a site survey of where the building was to be located.

Part of the contract was to undertake the relocation of the building twice a year to a different area within the racecouse site and we therefore suggested that we used relocatable Jackpad foundations.

After submitting our quotation and guarantee to be able to complete the project on time and within budget, the order was placed for the building and the manufacture started within days.

Installation

We arrived on site on the 24th October and installed the Jackpad foundations. Two hours later the first of the two modules arrived and by later that afternoon the complete building had been installed onto the foundations,  bolted together and weather sealed.

We stayed on site for a further 2 days to complete the internal installation of the building, the electrical installation, fit the steps, external skirt and fit the carpet tiles.
