New 2014 Part L Building Regulations.

We have just been informed by the Modular & Portable Building Association, that a summary of the 2014 Part L Building Regulations have been announced.

The main changes introduced by these amendments is for an average 9% reduction in carbon dioxide emmissions for new non-domestic buildings. For the two key types applicable to the majority of modular buildings the actual required improvements are;

Schools = 9%

Shallow Plan Offices = 13%

Deep Plan Offices with air conditioning = 12%
